Cloud Engineer/SOE Engineer Length: 24 months 3 x 12-month extensions Location of work: Canberra The Cloud Engineer will work on a range of complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs, utilising a variety of technologies including Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, Virtual Desktop infrastructure, and Cloud technology among others. Key Responsibilities: Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure based on organisational needs, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure - Monitoring cloud services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of cloud resources Developing and deploying applications that run on the cloud, leveraging cloud services for infrastructure as code, etc Ensuring cloud security - protecting data and infrastructure from unauthorized access Collaborating with other IT teams - Work with other IT professionals, such as network engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing IT systems Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, such as CI/CD pipelines to streamline cloud deployments Designing, deploying, and maintaining the standard operating environment (SOE) within an organisation for hardware, software, desktops and mobile devices Packaging and deploying software applications to end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and proper functionality Managing endpoint devices and configurations using tools whilst considering security About You: Experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure based on organisational needs, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness Experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure - Monitoring cloud services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of cloud resources Experience developing and deploying applications that run on the cloud, leveraging cloud services for infrastructure as code, etc Experience ensuring cloud security - protecting data and infrastructure from unauthorized access Strong collaboration skills and experience working with other IT professionals, such as network engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing IT systems Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, such as CI/CD pipelines to streamline cloud deployments Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining the standard operating environment (SOE) within an organisation for hardware, software, desktops and mobile devices Experience packaging and deploying software applications to end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and proper functionality Experience managing endpoint devices and configurations using tools whilst considering security Strong can-do attitude and ability to take on other broad project related activities to support the overall team and projects About Araza: Our organisation works with Australia’s largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.
