ConsultANZ is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for a well-established civil construction company based in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing team and play a key role across both tendering and commercial functions . Main Duties: Managing incoming tenders, including measurement, pricing, and timely submission. Leading the tendering function, ensuring all deadlines are met. Overseeing and supporting a Junior QS in both tendering and project QS work. Preparing and submitting monthly variations and end-of-month claims. Working collaboratively with two Directors, a Senior Estimator, and a Junior QS. Maintaining clear communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of civil construction experience in New Zealand (essential). Proven background in both tendering and quantity surveying. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to mentor and support junior team members. Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working across multiple responsibilities. Benefits: $110-130k base, negotiable depending on experience.
