About the role: The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of the benchmarking roadmap, including data extraction, analysis and preparation of documents required as part of the benchmarking working group, as well as the identification of opportunities to improve the consistency in how financial reporting is delivered across the sector and develop strategies to implement improvements in conjunction with health services. The Senior Analyst role will work with a small team and contribute to complex analysis and analysis design as needed. About you: To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of technical expertise, sector knowledge, and strategic insight, including: Experience as an analyst with expertise in health service funding models, capable of translating complex data into actionable strategies and improvement programs. A deep understanding of the frameworks, systems, and standards used by health services to report financial information. Strong skills in analysing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and benchmarking across hospitals and national datasets. A collaborative approach with strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to deliver data-driven insights that inform sector-wide financial improvement.
