The role will be responsible for analysing key financial information that will aid in planning and commercial decision making to ensure future growth and profitability. The daily duties and responsibilities include: Ensure Lotsearch accounts are maintained in an accurate and timely manner, all record keeping is in place and finance KPI’s achieved. Maintain balance sheet accounts and complete monthly reconciliations of fixed assets, bank accounts, and other assets and liabilities. Managing Compliance including insurance, contract renewals and superannuation. Assisting in the business planning including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Finalise monthly and annual accounts, including month-end and year-end journals. Prepare financial reports, provide supporting analysis and present to leadership regularly. Proactive planning and management of collections and payables, ensuring key KPI’s are met, and any issues are flagged to management in a timely manner. Act as Key User for Accounting Systems, drive continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes to enhance service delivery, and improve timeliness of accounts processes. Prepare customer and sales analysis and develop insights to highlight trends and develop recommendation. Partner with stakeholders in identifying revenue growth and cost reduction opportunities, support the implementation of initiatives and ensure key indicators and measured and monitored. Liaising with various stakeholders including customers, external accountants, financial institutions, government and tax authorities. Ensure all finance communication is managed in a timely manner, including accounts inbox, and phone calls. Staying up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Providing general administration support within the office and to our leadership team. Education – Bachelor degree or higher in Commerce/Accounting/Finance Experience & Skills Studying towards CPA or similar post grad qualifications Data handling and reporting skills including Excel [Advanced], Power BI Effective Analytical Skills High level of Communication and Influencing skills Demonstrated ability to develop insights from data and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for self and others Relevant experience with small business accounting software, Monday and Airtable systems Track record of working closely with the business owners as a trusted business partner Salary - Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is between $76,515 - $100,000 per annum.
