Job Info Location: ADELAIDE, SA Salary: >$100,000 Job Type: Temporary position | Full time position Job Description We are seeking an experienced Sustainability in Design (SuiD) Business Partner to join a leading government organisation's Sustainable Infrastructure division. This role will support the implementation, education, and ongoing application of sustainability and safety in design principles across major capital delivery projects. Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension Location: Adelaide CBD (Victoria Square) Rate: Approx. $568 per day including casual loading - Based on annual salary of $118k. Checks Required: Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and reference checks from direct supervisors Submission Deadline : 12 PM - Thursday 21 August About the Role Reporting to the Lead - Sustainability in Design, you will work closely with engineering, capital delivery, and WHS teams to ensure sustainable design practices are embedded into project planning and delivery. You will facilitate workshops, monitor compliance with sustainability and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in design processes to achieve efficient, safe, and innovative outcomes. Key Responsibilities Support and guide project teams in applying sustainability and safety in design principles Facilitate safety in design and related workshops Monitor, audit, and report on the SuiD process and outcomes Develop tools, processes, and educational materials to improve design sustainability Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and sustainability requirements Identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and process improvement Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience Proven experience in capital delivery and/or design processes Strong knowledge of sustainability and safety in design principles, systems, and processes Workshop facilitation and training delivery experience (desirable) Internal auditing and risk analysis experience (desirable) Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills If you have a passion for sustainable infrastructure and experience embedding sustainability into design and delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
