About the Role Reporting to the Coordinator Waste Operations, this role is responsible for the supervision of the street cleaning, precinct cleaning and graffiti removal operations team within the Waste and Recycling business unit. Other key duties include: Ensuring the City's Waste Management and Street Cleaning services are carried out in a timely manner Providing oversight for the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment used in Waste Management and Street Cleaning operations. Overseeing the health and safety requirements of the section and maintain accurate records. Ensuring staff productivity and motivation is closely monitored through regular communication and feedback. Stepping up during leave coverage to gain experience in the Coordinator role. What are we looking for? The successful candidate will have: Sound understanding and working knowledge of Waste and Street Cleaning operations. The ability to lead an operational team. Aspirations to work in an organisation that will invest in your career development – grow with us! Certificate III or higher qualifications in Waste Management or a relevant field or significant experience in waste management. Current Western Australia ‘HR’ Class Driver’s Licence (essential).
