About The Role A great opportunity is available for a Senior iOS Engineer to be a part of the Shop Browse & Evaluate Squad. This position involves delivering updates to the iOS application product cards, refreshed product category experience and uplifting the overall UI of the application. This is a permanent opportunity reporting to the Engineering Manager. Work Experience Seasoned software engineer with at least 5 years’ experience on the tools Extensive experience with iOS development and frameworks i.e. SwiftUI Good exposure to Agile Scrum working environments Experience working in large scale projects and heavy-traffic platforms Ability to drive and enforce software engineering practices Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Desirable to have experience in a cloud environment Desirable to have experience with release and automation pipelines Tertiary qualifications in a technology engineering discipline such as computer science Areas of Accountability Software Delivery Drive an engineering team to develop delivery goals within agreed timelines Facilitate agile scrum practices within the team, offer support to delivery managers in defining timelines and project requirements Engineering Quality Ensure the team is developing software quality in-line with the broader teams’ expectations Facilitate and govern peer reviews and testing standards Team development Empower and develop the engineering team’s skills Facilitate training, ensure all engineers are meeting needs and gaining help to close gaps Grow a culture that elicits a high-performing team and a fun working environment What’s in it for you?
