You’ll enhance patient care, support clinicians, and lead continuous improvement projects within a dynamic acute care environment. Deliver expert clinical advice and consultancy in palliative and supportive care Lead and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Provide education, mentorship and clinical support to multidisciplinary teams Initiate and participate in clinical research, service planning and strategic initiatives Drive practice improvement and lead clinical reviews across acute care services Requirements Essential Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Selection Criteria Minimum five (5) years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three (3) years in the speciality field in Palliative Care, Cancer Care, Advanced or Aged Care Nursing Postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field or other qualifications/experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation Demonstrated experience in policy, procedures and education programme development, implementation, review and redevelopment Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and develop/maintain professional relationships and networks across multiple disciplines Knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology skills Ability to assess, plan, initiate and manage complex cases, and work to goals and targets Requisition ID: REQ603270 Applications Close: 15th September 2025 Need more information?
