About The Role: St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, in partnership with the McGrath Foundation, is seeking a passionate and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Head and Neck to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team. Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care and education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis. Deliver holistic, patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Act as an advocate, educator, and clinical expert to ensure patients feel supported every step of the way. Work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. Demonstrate an appropriate level of oncology nursing experience and capability. About You Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in oncology. Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer, or equivalent qualifications/experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Demonstrated integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice. Demonstrated effective time management and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
