The Senior Product Manager, Platform Cash & Portfolio SME makes an impact by performing due diligence on proposed managed portfolios and ongoing monitoring and due diligence for current managed portfolios. In addition, this role has a specialist focus and oversight of the platform cash account (including supplier monitoring on behalf of the Trustee). How you'll make an impact Review and conduct ongoing oversight of investment managers for managed portfolios Conduct regular investment due diligence meetings with current investment managers, including engagement with AMP Investments and governance teams on underlying investments on menu Work with the Managed Portfolio product team and distribution to prioritise the new due diligence pipeline (vs ongoing review and cash roles) Work with broader investment teams (AMP Investments, investment governance etc) to ensure platform governance continues to be enhanced to respond to evolving governance requirements and approaches Report on the current range of manager portfolios for boards Manage the platform cash account & cash fees to harness the best rates for our platform Prepare board papers regarding investment integrity as it relates to platform cash Manage and document all processes and procedures as it relates to the platform working cash account (and the underlying suppliers) What you will bring to the team Extensive experience, 8 years' working in relevant professional role across investment research and/or due diligence in a financial service industry and driving a collaborative, high performance culture Proven experience responding to an evolving regulatory environment Experience working across multiple projects and working in a project environment Competent understanding and experience of wealth management and end to end business operations Intermediate to advanced technical experience in portfolio construction Intermediate to advanced technical experience in cash and liquidity management products Experience in identifying, assessing and addressing operational risk Understanding of competitors propositions and Superannuation/Investment industry trends as they relate to wealth management, particularly platforms environment Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for financial services Appropriate tertiary qualifications or preparedness to undertake studies in business or finance desirable You'll thrive here if… If you can adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease, you'll do well here.
