Overview Director – Clean Energy and Transmission, NSW Lead. Lead the New South Wales team for Turner & Townsend in Australia and New Zealand, delivering projects and programs in the Clean Energy & Transmission sector from pursuit to delivery. Responsibilities Establish and lead the NSW Clean Energy & Transmission team to deliver projects, programs and bids from pursuit through execution. Develop and deliver market strategies for capital projects in public and private sectors; manage relationships with state, national and international clients. Provide strategic leadership and SME input on project management, commercial management and project controls; coordinate interfaces with engineering and grid compliance. Pursue and respond to government tenders; lead growth through new and existing client relationships and cross-selling opportunities. Represent the business at industry events and collaborations; mentor and develop team members. Qualifications 20 years of relevant industry experience predominantly in the Energy and Transmission sectors. A recognised Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar. An electrical technical background is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience delivering major energy and transmission projects; understanding of the electricity value chain, regulatory and permitting requirements and industry trends. Preference for Australian experience with an established network within the power & transmission industry supply chain. Experience in both client and consultant environments; ability to lead a key client partnering approach and support growth. Proactive approach to business development and mentoring the team.
