Overview Join to apply for the Senior Web Developer role at Marlin Communications Position details: Job title Senior Web Developer (PHP & WordPress); Job type Full time, 5 day week; Location Hybrid role (Sydney studio & home); Salary band Senior; Salary range $110K – $150K About The Role We are looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer (Senior), with a passion for working with charities and not for profits to help them change the world. As a strategic, relationship-focused digital native you will oversee the delivery of high-impact digital projects from concept through to launch and beyond. You will work closely with clients and our internal team to scope, plan, deliver and provide ongoing support for experiences that empower our charity partners to achieve their mission. Role WordPress development is essential for this role, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating with clients, designers, project managers and leadership team. You will be: A PHP WordPress specialist with a proven track record in PHP and WordPress and understanding how plugins are built and managed via WordPress; A project manager who has a strong attention to detail, is customer centric and works well both independently and as part of a team managing multiple projects from concept to delivery; A relationship builder, trusted and respected by our internal teams, clients and the sector. Your Knowledge Bank Will Include PHP, WordPress, and understanding of CRMs like SalesForce; Experience with Figma, Canva, Miro, Slickplan (or other sitemap builder), Fundraisin / Raisley; Elementor, Gutenberg with good knowledge of HTML, CSS & SCSS, jQuery & Javascript and Vue SJ or React SJ at minimum; Client Projects Your key responsibilities include: Workshop participation (as needed); Taking briefs and identifying solutions; Managing external suppliers (as needed); Delivering projects on scope, on budget and on time; Ongoing Client Support Being across client needs and responsible for delivering or delegating support requirements on time and on budget; Quoting support requirements; Design UX UI support for design team (as needed); You Must Have 7 years of experience delivering digital projects with measurable outcomes (preferably agency-side); Proven ability to work as part of cross-functional project teams and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously; Strong senior web development skills across, CRM platforms, technical solutioning, API integrations and UX best practice; Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, both internally and with clients; A passion for social impact and a belief in the power of digital to drive change; Australian working rights. It’s An Added Plus If You Have Experience delivering digital projects for cause or purpose-driven brands; Experience with digital product development.
