Job Summary Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager Location: TechM AUS Sydney Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and manage cybersecurity projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly in the cybersecurity domain, and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to align project goals with security objectives. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects on time, within scope, and budget. Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, timelines, and risk registers. Manage resources, stakeholders, and third party vendors effectively. Coordinate implementation of security controls, monitoring solutions, and incident response plans. Oversee vulnerability management, web penetration testing, and IS audits. Ensure projects comply with GDPR. Collaborate with Security Operation Center teams and business units to align project goals with security objectives. Maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards for executive updates. Track and report on SLA, KPI & Metrics Management for cybersecurity maturity. Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership. Facilitate security awareness among business teams. Mandatory Skills Bachelor‿s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in cybersecurity or IT security projects. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001). Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident management, and cyber threat intelligence services. Proficiency in Project Management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, etc.). Proven experience in stakeholder management, including coordination across multiple teams and business units. Basic knowledge of Telecommunications Network Inventory to effectively collaborate with technical teams and understand project scope. Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Controls, including implementation and compliance best practices. Familiarity with CIS Standards and their application within enterprise environments. Deal Breaker Skill: Experience with Google Cybersecurity solutions. Preferred Skills PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification. Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP), CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security. Experience in Azure Cloud security. Qualifications Strong leadership and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written effective communication abilities. Analytical thinking and problem solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
