About the role: Due to continued growth and expanded specialisation, an exciting opportunity exists for a physiotherapist to build their career in a dynamic and progressive physiotherapy practice in St Leonards. St Leonards Physiotherapy is a well established practice with a referral network from GP's, orthopaedic surgeons, endocrinologists and other specialists. Our practice principal is a musculoskeletal titled physiotherapist with over 30 years experience. We run weekly inservices and case conferences to allow you to achieve best outcomes for your patients. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to: Be mentored from titled physiotherapists. Expand your skills across a diverse clinical caseload including musculoskeletal problems, sporting injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to run small group pilates based group therapy programs. Participate in internationally recognised chronic disease programs for Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis. Your exercise programs will contribute to the research base promoting exercise as a key component of managing these chronic problems. You will have the opportunity to be involved in research projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary specialists. Experience/interest in women's health and paediatric physiotherapy work will be an advantage in applying for this position. This role creates the ideal private practice learning curve for the motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist. About you: We are seeking a physiotherapist with a proven ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and the ability to build strong relationships with referrers. You need to have excellent clinical reasoning skills, a desire to achieve outstanding results and be a motivated team player. Experience is preferable, as is a background in Exercise Physiology, however we will consider any physiotherapist who has the ability to think creatively when assessing patients, work independently and perform innovative treatment programs.
