About You The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the finance team by taking ownership of compliance and financial reporting tasks, streamlining month-end close processes, and supporting strategic finance initiatives. This position is designed to reduce the workload of the Finance Manager, improve efficiency, and enhance the finance team’s ability to serve as a business partner across departments. The role will also involve implementing NetSuite process improvements and automation to drive efficiency. About the Role We are now searching for a Financial Accountant to join our team, based out of our QLD Head office in Arundel. This position is integral in assisting the business to set and meet financial targets and support the business growth. Your primary function is to provide support to the Financial Controller, Finance Manager and wider Finance Team. Your key tasks will include attendance to compliance requirements for the Buildsafe Group of companies, KPIs and analysis of company’s performance, month end processes including monthly workpapers, payroll, and budget preparation and reporting Your core responsibilities include: Preparation of Financial Statements and Month End Process Preparation of KPI & analysis of company financial performance Management of transactional data Cash flow Forecasts and Budget Preparation Governance, Compliance and Risk Management About you To be successful in this role you will hold relevant CPA/tertiary qualifications and have past experience working in medium to large organisations. You will encompass a hands-on approach and be comfortable handling the transactional processes.
