As our Assistant Financial Accountant , you will report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant and will deliver high quality, customer service oriented general accounting services for The Star Gold Coast ensuring delivery to deadlines and compliance with Group policies. A few of your responsibilities: Support financial processes including journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of management, statutory, and regulatory reports. Deliver monthly reporting packs, assist with accounting queries, and provide insights and resolutions for transactional and process issues. Assist with internal and external audits, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the preparation of Group statutory accounts. Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, policies, and procedures, including fixed asset management and inter-company transactions. What we are looking for: Currently studying Accounting and/or working towards CA/CPA. 1–2 years’ experience in an assistant accounting role Proficient in Oracle, TM1, and Excel. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset. About you: You’re a strong communicator and team player with a customer-focused mindset. Organised and analytical, you’re confident using Oracle/ERP, Word, and Excel to support efficient financial operations.
