About the role: We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer/Accounts Allrounder to join our growing accounting department. The role is primarily accounts receivable based with the opportunity to further assist the accounting department in other areas, depending on your skillset. Your primary duties will consist of typical AR functions including: Post daily deposits Reconcile customer accounts Maintain customer invoicing portals Communicate with customers about any discrepancies and queries Follow up on overdue accounts Keep management promptly informed of any AR issues Process & investigate chargebacks and returns About you: We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, high achieving AR specialist, with a proven track record. If you have had experience with large overseas retailers (especially the US) we're particularly interested to hear from you. The successful candidate will have several years’ experience, and a strong skill set, including: 2 years relevant experience Experience with major retailers (particularly USA) including chargebacks and returns Accounting degree would be a plus Experience with a major finance/ERP system is highly desirable but not essential Proficient in excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Extensive experience with customer service Excellent attention to detail Well-developed time management skills Please apply with: Cover letter addressing why you meet the requirements of the role, when you’re available to start and why you want to come and work with us!
