First things first, a bit about the business: A global business headquartered in the UK, this technology organization employs over 2400 people and has a suite of products encompassing Human Capital Management (HCM), Spend Management, Financial services and more. Globally they have some of the most well known brands as long time clients. Over the past few years they have streamlined their product suite and focussed on providing software that makes a significant difference to their client base. They are currently looking for a Saas Account Manager who can work with existing clients in the education sector who are currently using a procurement platform to manage their buying. Now, let’s talk about the job: Understanding the educators. One the one side you’ll be working with an “enterprise” number of university clients in Australia. A key task will be working with them to understand how they can get the most out of their platform- specifically in relation to key research projects and new developments they have on the go. You’ll be responsible for upselling and renewals here. On the other hand, you’ll work with the on platform suppliers that the universities buy from. These suppliers span a variety of industries but there is a key focus on research and life sciences businesses, along with the other usual suspects that universities need to purchase from. You’ll manage over 100 of these relationships (which are already tiered) and be responsible for upsells, integrations AND uncovering opportunities to sell other saas solutions to these businesses. This position manages existing accounts only but the successful candidate will be great at uncovering new opportunities within these accounts. You: You’ve spent 5 years working in a client facing role within a Saas environment. You could be an AE or BDM who wants to move into working with existing clients. You could be a CSM who wants to move into a more revenue focussed AM type role. You could even be an Account Manager who wants to move into another organisation. Ideally you will have experience selling to/managing universities. An understanding of the life sciences and research sector would be very beneficial. You are outcome driven – you know what you need to do and how to get it done. You will be comfortable working to and achieving revenue targets. You can communicate and work well with your manager. When you need help, you ask for it! When you uncover information, you share it with the team. You are proactive and positive and want to bring your best efforts to work. Must haves: - 5 years experience in a revenue role in a Saas organisation- A track record of working to and achieving targets- A desire to uncover new opportunities- even within an existing client base But why would you apply?
