In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the HR Support Team, helping build a high-performing and sustainable workforce by delivering timely, accurate people management advice, exceptional customer support, and efficient administrative services. You’ll take an active role in recruitment, contract management, and general HR administration resolving enquiries and ensuring the smooth, effective delivery of P&C functions across the department. You’ll also provide guidance on HR legislation, regulations, and policies, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our processes and make a real difference. About You We’re seeking someone who excels at delivering exceptional service, communicates confidently, and builds strong relationships across all levels. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, you approach challenges with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset. Your customer-focused approach ensures you respond quickly with clear, consistent advice and support that truly makes a difference. Bringing an understanding of HR administrative practices—ideally gained within government or a medium to large organisation, coupled with technical abilities in using a HRM information system and Microsoft Office suite, you’ll also contribute to continuous improvement and provide effective support for key HR initiatives. A relevant qualification or equivalent experience is highly regarded and will enable you to make a meaningful impact from day one.
