About the JobAs a Principal in Barrenjoey’s Structured Finance division within Corporate Finance, you will play a key role in executing high-profile mandates and supporting a broad range of client engagements across Securitization and Debt Capital Markets. Our team partners with clients on a diverse array of financial products, including public and private debt financings, portfolio acquisitions, and debt advisory. In this role, you’ll be involved in every stage of the transaction lifecycle, with a particular focus on preparing presentations, drafting term sheets, building and reviewing financial models, and commenting on legal documentation and ratings reports. Based in Sydney, you will work within a collaborative team that spans Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, and Advisory. About You3-4 years of prior experience in securitization, structured finance, or a related fieldStrong technical, modelling, legal, quantitative and written and verbal communication skillsDeep understanding of a securitization transaction lifecycle and the steps involved in the process as well a strong understanding of debt capital markets processesExecution focused with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with other internal team members, client and other key stakeholders in the transaction lifecycleSelf-starter with a curious mindset, strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently when requiredBachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or related discipline
