Duties and Responsibilities : Prepare and cook various type of Curries with authentic Indian taste. Prepare and cook food meeting dietary requirements where required. Plan menus and adjust existing dishes, including pricing, while keeping overhead costs minimal. Ensure proper seasoning, garnishing, and portion control for all dishes served. Apply correct freezing and preservation techniques to extend ingredient shelf life without compromising quality. Provide support and Training other kitchen staff. Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly. Manage stock, including ordering, rotation, and minimising waste. Uphold high standards in food preparation, presentation, and consistency at all times. Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or relevant qualification) and have a minimum 1 year experience.
