We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical / Piping Engineer to join a leading engineering team on a long-term contract supporting a portfolio of sustaining capital projects across WA’s mining sector.

About the role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering support on a diverse range of projects, including studies and sustaining capital works across WA’s major iron ore operations.
This role requires a versatile engineer with a strong background across both mechanical and piping disciplines, capable of contributing not only to detailed design but also to studies, proposals, and the development of technical scopes.
Key responsibilities:

Provide engineering input into sustaining capital and study projects

Deliver designs and technical documentation across mechanical and piping systems

Engage in concept studies and feasibility assessments

Support proposals and add value through continuous technical input

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions
About you:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related)

10+ years’ experience in mechanical/piping engineering
-
Strong background across stackers, crushers, conveyors, chutes, wet & dry plants, and hydraulics

Previous experience in sustaining capital and brownfield projects
-
Ability to work across both design and study environments
