The Position Genus Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager. The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight, monitoring, and strategic management of all parameters encompassing cost management, schedule coordination and performance measurement on the newly awarded Western Power Clean Energy Link North Project. Duties and Responsibilities Develop project control plans, procedures, and tools aligned with project and organization objectives. Set up WBS, CBS, OBS (Organizational Breakdown Structure), and resource-loaded schedules in coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Coordinate early-stage inputs for estimating, procurement planning, and baseline schedule establishment. Monitor direct and indirect costs, including labour, plant, subcontractors, and materials. Lead earned value analysis (EVA) and cost-to-complete (CTC) forecasting. Manage the development of Level 1–5 schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent, integrating engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Monitor milestones such as energisation, outages, and commissioning dates. Establish and administer change control processes, ensuring proper capture, approval, and documentation of variations. Interface with commercial and contract teams to assess time and cost impacts of scope changes or claims. Maintain a dynamic project risk register, including regulatory, environmental, and weather-related risks common to power infrastructure builds. Prepare and present regular cost and schedule reports, dashboards, and performance indices (CPI, SPI) to internal stakeholders and external clients. Implement and maintain project controls systems (e.g., ProjectWise, Procore, Business Central, etc). Lead a multi-disciplinary project controls team (schedulers, cost managers, document controllers). Essential Skills / Qualifications 5 Years’ experience in a similar Project Controls position responsible. Contractor-side D&C experience in renewable energy projects desirable. Qualifications in Accounting or similar. Demonstrated understanding of Occupational Health & Safety concepts. Proven experience in working in a large scale and complex project environment ideally with an understanding of renewable energy projects (i.e - Transmission Line- and Substation projects). Experience with- and understanding of Primavera P6. Proficient in Power BI, Power Query and Power Pivot (and SQL experience is preferred). Ability to lead a cohesive team in a complex project environment. Strong attention to detail.
