UGL have an opportunity for experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team. This role will be based at our Perth Office with expectations of regular site travel to our site at WA Oil, Barrow Island. About Role: The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee UGL’s core operations at WA Oil, leading a team of Supervisors and Linesmen responsible for operating and maintaining the 11kV and 22kV overhead distribution network. Additionally, this role will serve as the primary point of contact for all seconded personnel involved in operations and maintenance activities. 5\:2 Perth Based (Expectations of monthly site travel) 40 hrs per week Key Responsibilities: Oversight of UGL Operations at WAO. Makes sure policies, procedures, and standards are followed. Manages resources (e.g., manpower, materials, scheduling for HV network crew). Compliance and Safety: Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Conducts audits and inspections to verify work quality Promote a strong safety culture Strategic Planning: Focuses on long-term goals and outcomes. Aligns project outcomes with organizational priorities. Works closely with upper management or other stakeholders. Budget and Scheduling: Develops and oversees project budgets and timelines. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. High-Level Coordination: Coordinates with leadership, clients, or external partners & Sub-contractors Manages communication between departments or large teams. Problem Solving and Crisis Management: Handles escalated issues and defines solutions to challenges. Takes responsibility for decision-making during critical moments. Reporting: Prepares reports for stakeholders or senior leadership that highlight progress, concerns, successes, or deficits.
