Introduction The Big Banana cafe is looking to recruit an experienced casual cook for a minimum of 2 shifts per week, with additional shifts during school holidays. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a team player in a busy kitchen. Description This is very much a "hands on" role, so you must have the ability to work fast, efficiently and under pressure. We expect the applicant to have a sound understanding of the skills and abilities needed to work unsupervised in a kitchen team and produce fresh, tasty cuisine for our casual dining environment. Skills And Experiences The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria: Experience working in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment. Safety focused. Possess excellent communication skills and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Able to work as part of a team. Well presented; both you and your cuisine. Must be available to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays. You must have attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of food standards are achieved.
