The opportunity As our Manager or Senior Manager, have the opportunity to work with Australian-based and multinational clients across the country, therefore offering you the ability to work with large corporates, and a diverse range of industries. In this role, you will manage a team of specialists to provide expert employment tax advice and compliance support—including FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, Salary Packaging, and Due Diligence—while leveraging technology and data insights, reviewing key deliverables, collaborating across teams, and delivering training to clients and colleagues. You’ll be provided with training, coaching and support available to help grow your career even further! Our team works as a well-integrated national team, with our leading Employment Tax Specialists based across each State of Australia. This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne, Boorloo – Perth, Meanjin – Brisbane or Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Your key responsibilities Lead and Inspire: Join a national management team, guiding junior staff across Australia while managing large, multi-stakeholder projects and serving as the key client contact. Deliver Employment Tax Expertise: Advise clients on all aspects of employment tax—including Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging—while reviewing key deliverables like FBT and payroll tax returns. Drive Innovation and Engagement: Use technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, and deliver impactful training seminars to both clients and internal teams. Skills and attributes for success Extensive Employment Tax Experience: Over 5 years of delivering employment tax compliance and consulting services to large multinational organizations, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service. Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, alongside proven data analytics capabilities and confidence in handling complex datasets. Effective and Flexible Work Style: Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and experience with automating tax processes (desirable but not essential).
