Join us and be part of building something bigger! As the Director, Finance you'll develop innovative plans for interesting projects as you grow your skills every day. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Lead and manage TIQ's Financial and Procurement functions, including financial budgeting and forecasting, financial accounting and operations, procurement and contract management while developing contemporary solutions to mitigate emerging risks. Provide leadership, strategic advice and direction to a high performing team, fostering a professional environment which encourages commitment to ethical behaviour, skills development, and continuous improvement. Champion Finance and Procurement considerations and collaboration opportunities on cross-cutting initiatives or actions that impact multiple teams. Lead the development of Finance and procurement operational plans and monitor and report against performance indicators. Develop and maintain performance standards and service expectations for the finance and procurement teams, working collaboratively with operational teams and other corporate service teams to deliver an exceptional customer service experience. Provide high level strategic advice and analysis to the TIQ Board, Audit, Finance and Risk Management Committee, CEO, CFO and members of the Executive Leadership Team on all aspects of financial management and procurement. Develop contemporary finance and procurement strategies to facilitate innovative service delivery solutions across the agency's operations, considering current and emerging business realities, opportunities and threats, and contribute to preparation of business cases. Lead the development and implementation of Finance and Procurement projects and business information management systems that lead to significant improvements in business capability and outcomes. Develop and foster effective relationships with key stakeholders across local, state and federal agencies, industry to continue to build commitment to long term growth. Represent TIQ on inter-departmental, national and industry committees and present and participate in key government and business forums relevant to subject matter expertise Please refer to the postion description for a full-list of key responsbilities and accountabilities.
