We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Equity Research Analyst focussed on Pre IPO, Mirco or Small Cap Mining & Resources, Energy, Technology, Healthcare, and Consumer sectors. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality research across company, sector, and macroeconomic themes, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to Wholesale and Institutional Investors. The successful candidate will possess confidence performing in-depth financial analysis, complex modelling, industry research and valuations in ASX-listed and unlisted companies across pre IPO, micro and small-cap Mining & Resources, Energy, Technology, Healthcare, and Consumer sectors . Additionally excellent communication skills, working collaboratively with Sales and Advisory and Corporate Finance teams. The Equity Research Analyst will deliver investment theses across one or multiple sectors, requiring strong analytical, communication, and commercial skill Responsibilities: Producing financial models, desk notes, research reports, & industry macroeconomic analysis Communicating ideas to institutional investors, conducting due diligence and working with the wider team to identify market trends Competent in financial statement analysis Confidence in forming investment recommendations Comfortable dealing with a range of HNW, family office and institutional fund managers Facilitate company meetings and corporate access Attend industry conferences and build relationships with industry contacts Track company events and earnings Develop financial models and valuation techniques Ability to manage business and reputational risk Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication and personalized service. Work closely with the Sales and Corporate teams as well as corporate clients and investors Present and explain complex financial products and services clearly and concisely Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and competitor activities Pro-active, comfortable working in a team environment, have a positive attitude and ambition to progress his/her career within equity research Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field CFA (part to full completion) Experience: 3 years of experience in an Equity Research Analyst position- Pre IPO, Micro to small cap Deliver research in an investable thesis and ability to produce market aligned ASX Company Research Reports / Desk Notes Market ideas to internal constituents and clients via phone calls where necessary Preferred (advantageous): Versatility and breadth of previous sector coverage across Resources; Healthcare; Technology; Consumer Discretionary Experience using Bloomberg or FactSet Research Report presentation and Excel modelling (proficient) J-18808-Ljbffr
