Our mission: to support independence, growth, and well-being for our clients, with compassion and tailored care Role Overview As a Disability Services Officer, you'll play a vital part in nurturing independence, facilitating meaningful community engagement, and enhancing quality of life for our clients across Western Sydney. You’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated nursing and support teams to deliver customised support services. What You’ll Do Provide personal and domestic assistance, including personal care, meal prep, and housekeeping. Support clients in building daily living skills and engaging in social/community activities. Assist with coordination of Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangements. Offer respite support, transport assistance, and home maintenance services–tailored to individual client needs. Maintain detailed, accurate records of client care and progress. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, and multidisciplinary staff. Essential Requirements Relevant qualifications or experience in disability support, nursing, Aged Care, or SIL services. NDIS Worker Screening, police check, and (if applicable) Working with Children Check. Full driver’s licence and access to reliable transport. Empathy, patience, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Commitment to inclusive, person‑centred practice.
