Introduction The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria, providing specialist knowledge and support to young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Our vision is that young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds are connected, empowered and influential Australians. Description The Project Lead will primarily be responsible for the coordination, co-design, co-delivery and oversight of the Reverb 2.0 youth mental health program with young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. This will include recruiting, engaging and supporting young people in project activities; delivering leadership training and capacity-building workshops; supervising a Project Officer and Youth Advocates (staff); and coordinating the development and delivery of presentations, workshops and professional development sessions. The position will be responsible for establishing and facilitating stakeholder relationships with mental health service providers, schools, and other project stakeholders to collaboratively deliver project activities. The Project Lead is also expected to actively support the work of the Youth Participation program area more broadly, collaborating with staff across the team and organisation to enhance organisational practice, and maximise opportunities for youth participation.
