We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our clients team on a 6-month full-time contract, based in their Sydney CBD office. About the Role: This role will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. You will be working onsite (in office full-time) in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on deadlines and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Processing accounts payable and receivable Bank reconciliations and expense management Assisting with general ledger tasks Supporting BAS preparation Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation Providing ad-hoc support to the finance team as required Requirements: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role Hands-on experience with Xero (essential) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and within a team Full-time availability for 6 months, office-based in Sydney CBD This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in a fast-paced environment while developing your accounting skill set further.
