Casual Female Disability Support Workers – Spinal Cord Injury Support We are seeking 2 compassionate female Disability Support Workers to support a 31-year-old female client living with a spinal cord injury and managing autonomic dysreflexia . The client is an independent wheelchair user who requires assistance with transfers and daily living tasks. About the Role: Provide safe and respectful manual transfers Support management and prevention of autonomic dysreflexia Assist with daily living activities and household tasks Promote independence and wellbeing Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals as needed Shifts Available ( Applicants must be available for at least two of these shifts per week) Monday: 7:00am – 3:00pm Wednesday: 7:00am – 3:00pm Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm Pay Rates (SCHADS Award – Level E3.1 Casual): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight): $38.67 Active night shift (starts before 6am or ends after midnight): $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 About You: Experience supporting people with spinal cord injuries Skilled in manual handling and transfers Knowledgeable about autonomic dysreflexia and appropriate responses Empathetic, patient, and committed to person-centred care Hold current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and WWCC (VIC) or equivalent What We Offer: Competitive casual pay rates under SCHADS Award Flexible work within set shift times Supportive and professional team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and development Apply Now: If you’re a reliable, caring female worker ready to make a real difference, please submit your resume and availability.
