We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality ANZ to join Philips Healthcare. Your Role This critical position holds overall responsibility for Quality, Operations, and Compliance Management across Philips in ANZ. You will lead a high-performing team dedicated to achieving the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Head of Quality APAC and India, you will be a key member of the ANZ Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities Include: Managing and continuously improving Philips’ Quality Management and business information systems across Health System, Sleep Respiratory Care, and Personal Health, integrating global processes where appropriate. Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations (e.g., ISO13485, TGA Medical Device Regulations, QSR, MDR, Philips policies). Implementing quality system components, including document and data control, management responsibility, quality planning, training, corrective and preventive actions, and audits. Acting as the primary contact for regulatory authorities in Australia & New Zealand, including interfacing with TGA, Medsafe, and other agencies. Preparing for and executing internal and external audits in the region. Deploying global quality objectives with local adjustments to drive improvements. Managing post-market surveillance processes such as feedback, complaints, corrections, and adverse event reporting. Participating in the district Leadership Team, managing team budgets, and developing strategic plans aligned with business goals. Collaborating with Customer Service and Supply Chain Management teams. Overseeing personnel training for QMS processes and leading the district quality team through coaching and development. Partnering with regional and local process owners to improve processes and develop quality strategies based on best practices and regional needs. Maintaining an effective global policy framework to support evolving business needs. Engaging with quality professionals and business partners to balance business and regulatory requirements, supporting capabilities like Supplier Quality, PQMS, and Regulatory Affairs. You're the right fit if: Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, or Business Management. Have a strong understanding of industrial product regulations and standards. Have practical knowledge of TGA regulations and other markets like US FDA and EU MDR. Ideally, have 10 years of quality management experience in manufacturing or commercial environments within medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Experience leading teams of professionals.
