About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable welder who can perform MIG and/or Stick welding on Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel . While experience in all materials is ideal, we are happy to provide training if you are proficient in at least one. This role also involves assisting with labour tasks during the installation process and supporting the full lifecycle of live projects. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and/or Stick welding (experience in TIG welding is a plus) on Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel. Assist with labouring duties during installation and throughout project delivery. Maintain quality and precision in welding work to meet project standards. Adhere to workplace safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times. Requirements Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of MIG welding experience; Stick welding experience is advantageous. Transport: Must have a valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle to travel to the factory or job sites on time. Equipment: Must have own PPE including welding gloves, apron, welding helmet/goggles, steel-cap boots, labouring gloves, and high-vis clothing. Work Rights: Must hold valid Australian working rights (part-time or full-time). Desirable Skills & Attributes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, producing accurate and high-quality results. Previous experience in balustrading and handrail installation. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English for effective team communication. Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding with strong finishing quality across all listed materials. Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $50 – $80 per hour Superannuation (flat rate). Entitlements: All part-time or full-time employment benefits. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with occasional weekend work (weekend rates/bonuses apply). Breaks: 30 minutes to 1 hour lunch break daily.
