The firm is a successful international investor, which has a track record of successful investments throughout North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Due to significant momentum in the Asia-Pacific region, the firm is seeking another experienced investment professional to join their Sydney team. This roles will join a team responsible for identifying private equity investment opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Targeting mid-cap and large-cap companies (EV >$250m), the investment team works closely with the management of portfolio companies, as partners and co-owners, to create value for these companies in the long term. You will be supporting a first-class leadership team that will provide the opportunity to develop marquee assets across the region. The Vice President role requires 6-12 years of professional experience, with a demonstrable track record of direct investment experience. Role Responsibilities: • Investment origination and deal sourcing across industrials and/or real asset sectors • Transaction execution - management of advisors, commercial and financial due diligence • Financial analysis, valuation and modelling - for both new and existing investments • Developing investment committee papers and client presentations • Providing direction and assistance to management teams of investee companies • Developing and implementing financial and operational strategies • Contributing to board discussions as a member and/or observer Candidates must also possess the following: • 6-12 years of professional experience, with a demonstrable track record of investment • Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, and/or Law) Suitable applications will be contacted for an in-depth discussion ahead of formal interviews.
