We are working closely with one of our government clients to secure them an experienced Application Platform Architect to become a key part of a forward-thinking technical team. You will work in a department that provides the critical IT infrastructure and digital platforms that enable critical services to reach Queenslanders. They are modernising and strengthening their ICT capability to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and ready for future growth. As the Application Platform Architect, you will: Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for the application platform, including integrations with Azure and other enterprise systems; Provide technical expertise and advice to key business and executive stakeholders and guidance to implementation and support teams, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of solutions; Produce and maintain essential documentation, including blueprints, architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and reporting as required; and Drive performance, scalability, governance and reliability of Dynamics 365 and Azure environments ensuring they support current and future business needs. About you: To be successful, you will bring a collaborative, pragmatic approach along with deep expertise in enterprise application platforms. Your experience spans cloud and on-premise services, COTS platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, enterprise integration practices, and data management. You are skilled in translating complex business requirements into solution architectures and providing architecture assurance in large-scale agile environments. You will also demonstrate: Strong understanding of information security and privacy practices; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experience working effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and with third-party suppliers; Familiarity with enterprise and solution architecture practices in agile settings; Integration practices including API, batch and messaging solution architectures; and Data management practices including data modelling, data schemas, reference data management, data mapping and data migration.
