MFN Nominees Pty Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Person to join our friendly and professional team at our thriving nursery in Kilsyth South . This is a fantastic opportunity for a horticulture professional who is passionate about plant care, grounds maintenance , and delivering excellent service in a dynamic nursery environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare potting media and containers prior to planting. Select seeds, bulbs, and cuttings; plant them in garden beds, lawn areas, or tubs. Perform budding and grafting of vegetative material onto root stock. Water plants manually and operate/monitor automated watering systems. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to manage pests, diseases, and plant nutrition. Maintain accurate records of soil mixes, plantings, treatments, losses, and yields. Select, package, and present plants for sale or delivery. Provide expert advice to customers on plant care and appropriate plant selection for local conditions. Assist in planning sales area layout and visual merchandising as required. About You: Qualifications & Experience (Skill Level 3): AQF Certificate III in Horticulture (including at least two years of on-the-job training), or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant horticultural field, or Equivalent relevant experience in a nursery or horticultural setting may be considered in place of formal qualifications. Ideal Candidate: Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Demonstrates excellent plant knowledge and a passion for horticulture. Can work both independently and as part of a team. Has good communication skills and enjoys customer interaction. Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
