We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse. This is a Permanent Part time Position working 25 hours per week at our Rockhampton store in Queensland. Key Responsibilities: Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system Performing work order balancing, fulfilment reporting, negative stock on hand reports Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail Responsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse To collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment. Who are we Looking for? If you’re someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys variety in your day, and loves being part of a supportive, hard-working team - we want to hear from you! 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution. Good Computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook) and ability to create reports A passion to help people and a desire to get results Excellent communication skills Reliable, committed, proactive and driven with a can-do attitude. As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes.
