THE ROLE Join our dynamic team as a solution-focused Work Health and Safety & Injury Management Administrator, where you will manage and enhance our Work Health and Safety systems, monitoring compliance and fostering a safe work environment across all business units. In this role, you will advise and support employees in all aspects of safety, including conducting training, safety committee meetings, risk assessments, audits, and inspections. You will also promote a proactive injury management approach, with a key focus on early injury intervention and sustainable return to work. You will play an active part in developing strategies to progress injured employees to positive return to work outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Coach and influence teams to establish high standards of safety in their everyday work. Update the TDL Safety Management Plan and communicate updates across the wider business. Review SWMS & Safety Policies when required. Conduct safety audits and investigations into incidents & accidents. In collaboration with the business unit managers, further refine our use of systems and reporting on all safety aspects. Foster a safety-focused culture within the organisation. Ensure new injuries/incidents are registered in the system, followed up, and investigations are closed out. Provide injury management advice to our Leaders to ensure they manage and support their employees throughout any period of injury/illness. Working with Business Unit Managers & Training Administrator to reduce impacts of workplace injury through proactive training and education. What we’re looking for: Diploma in WHS (preferred) or Certificate IV in WHS. Demonstrated experience in a WHS advisory role in a skilled or manual labour environment (construction or maintenance industries will be highly regarded). Proven positive stakeholder engagement with strong influencing abilities and the capability to work with a broad range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing health, safety, and injury management aspects. Working knowledge of safety instruments, legislation, and awards.
