Join a newly established Domestic Admissions team and help shape how they support future students. You’ll provide accurate admissions advice, onboard and train new staff, and ensure systems like StudyLink and UAC run smoothly. The role also involves driving process improvements, maintaining compliance and service quality, and building strong relationships with schools, students, and families. You’ll also play a part in recruitment events, including Open Days and school visits. This is a full time, permanent role offering hybrid working (2 days in the office/ 3 days from home) and excellent opportunity to grow and develop. The role: Develop a strong understanding of processing applications, assessing eligibility, and issuing offers for domestic students, including those received through UAC Provide accurate advice on admissions policies and procedures to applicants and staff Coordinate onboarding and training for new admissions staff Support the maintenance and testing of admissions systems (e.g., StudyLink, UAC portals) Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and data standards Maintain a strong customer service culture and collaborative team environment Assist with recruitment events, including Open Days and school visits (some weekend work required) Build positive relationships with internal teams, school counsellors, students, and parents The ideal candidate: Experience in domestic admissions within the tertiary education sector highly desirable A good understanding of university admissions procedures and the UAC application process Skilled at meeting critical deadlines in a high-volume environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-focused mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities Proven commitment to customer service excellence Able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results What’s in it for you?
