We are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Project Manager to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector. Based in Metropolitan Melbourne, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures. In this role you'll be responsible for: Leading the successful delivery of large and complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery from pre-contracts through to handover in line with company frameworks and client agreements Managing project risks, contract obligations, work health & safety, environmental compliance and quality through thorough planning, regular reviews and corrective actions Leading stakeholder engagement, fostering cooperation and trust with clients and subcontractors and communicating professionally to achieve project goals Analysing costs, forecasting expenditures, coordinating subcontractor performance and utilising programming software to monitor progress and address issues proactively Optimising project outcomes by identifying and managing risks and opportunities, negotiating with suppliers and driving continuous improvements across multi-disciplinary teams Preparing business cases and project schedules, managing change and compensation events, tracking key performance indicators and providing timely, accurate reporting throughout the project. How you'll connect to the role: Degree level qualification in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 8-10 years' project management experience in Construction or Water industry projects with a proven record delivering safe, on-time and on-budget outcomes Demonstrated capability in managing the engineering and design facets of complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across varied asset classes Strong understanding of commercial arrangements, procurement, financial management, design and contracts management to achieve value-for-money engineering outcomes Well-developed leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and driving successful collaboration Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
