The Opportunity: As a Field Team Member you will be a part of a field based team undertaking land management activities on bushland, parks, reserves, and waterways to achieve project outcomes. Some of your duties will include: Working onsite as part of a Field Team to undertake land management and general environmental activities in bushland reserves, parks and on waterway. General labouring, planting trees and watering. Operate a range of hand held power tools . Weed control including spraying weeds as instructed by your team leader. You will have: Experience working in either Field Team, arboriculture, landscape gardening or as a labourer . Any experience with herbicide application would be highly regarded. Knowledge of both indigenous and exotic vegetation within Greater Melbourne. Ability to work proactively and constructively in a team environment . Sound interpersonal skills and the capability to communicate clearly and effectively with work colleges and the general public . Relevant TAFE or University education would be highly regarded. Construction OHS Induction card (White Card). First Aid Level 2. Driver's licence and own vehicle. ACUP licence or chem cert training. A genuine passion for the environment.
