We’re seeking a commercially minded Account Associate to join our Sydney-based team, supporting distribution efforts across Private Wealth (NSW) and Queensland (from Sydney remotely). Reporting to the Head of RI Distribution/State Manager NSW, you’ll work closely with Key Account Managers and play a pivotal role in client engagement, sales support, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, proactive support to Private Wealth (NSW), Broking, and QLD Key Account Managers (KAMs), ensuring seamless client engagement. Respond to client and adviser queries with professionalism, accuracy, and a solutions-focused mindset. Coordinate and manage client appointments, seminars, roadshows, and other engagement activities to support KAMs. Assist in planning and executing client functions, including logistics, invitations, and follow-up communications. Maintain and update CRM systems with meeting notes, client segmentation, activity tracking, and pipeline data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy to support reporting and strategic decision-making. Monitor and analyse fund flows, approved product lists, and client activity to identify trends and sales opportunities. Support the execution of channel plans and state-based growth initiatives in alignment with broader distribution strategy. Contribute to the completion of state plans and reporting on progress against KPIs. Provide timely and relevant market updates to clients and advisers, including fund performance, stock commentary, and macroeconomic insights. Prepare tailored presentations and briefing materials for client meetings and events. Collaborate with investment teams to ensure accurate and insightful product information is shared externally. Conduct detailed analysis of Perpetual’s product suite and competitor offerings to support sales positioning. Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to inform distribution strategy and client conversations. Manage and support ad hoc projects across distribution, marketing, and client engagement. Coordinate internal and external events, including venue booking, stakeholder communication, and post-event reporting. About you We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Holds a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (progress toward CIMA is a plus). Has 3 years’ experience in a client-facing role within funds management, platform distribution, or private wealth. Is passionate about investment management and understands multiple asset classes. Communicates clearly and thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team. Is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. Can manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities with ease.
