Job Description Psychologist – Child Development & Early Intervention– Accommodation provided Are you a dedicated Psychologist with experience in Child Development and Early Intervention Parenting Support ? We have an exciting six-month contract opportunity with the a Hospital and Health Service, based at Roma Hospital , with the possibility of extension. About the Role: We are accepting applications from HP3 and HP4 level clinicians to deliver high-level psychology services across multiple sites. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in optimizing psycho-social outcomes for children, families, and carers. Location: Roma Hospital, QLD Start Date: ASAP Contract: 6 months (potential for extension) Travel Support: $200 each way Accommodation Provided Monday to Friday roster KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team across the Roma facility and outreach sites. Delivering comprehensive psychological assessments, treatment, and case management for children and young people. Offering early intervention parenting support, particularly for children aged 0-8 years, including conducting detailed family assessments and interventions for clients with complex needs. Coordinate care plans for at-risk clients, following Child Health service delivery models to support complex cases effectively. Provide supervision, training, and professional development to staff, as well as oversee student placements as per agreements with the Service Director. This position will be required to travel and work across South West Hospital and Health Services facilities. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA. Experience in Child Development and Early Intervention Parenting Support . Strong ability to work autonomously and within a team . Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families .
