As the Service Centre Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our service business, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and productivity in our repair and manufacturing facilities. You will play a key role in executing our global standards locally while influencing future strategies and operational improvements. This is a leadership role with real autonomy where your decisions will directly impact business success, customer satisfaction, and our journey towards sustainability. This role is based in Mackay. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations, ensuring targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved. Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity. Drive financial performance through effective planning, cost control, and budget management. Foster a high-performance team culture, empowering and coaching employees to deliver results. Build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support business goals. Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, embedding a Zero Harm culture. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, using lean and agile methodologies to deliver measurable gains. What we are looking for Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Trade Certification. Proven leadership experience in operations management (manufacturing, repairs, or mining services preferred). Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering operational results. Knowledge of mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry equipment (experience with FLSmidth products is a plus). Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
