Key Responsibilities - Build relationships with key customers to enhance long-term business prospects - Monitor pipeline and sales processes across the sales group - Facilitate weekly and monthly sales team meetings and ensure position clarity - Lead the development and execution of national sales plans across multiple product segments - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial targets for the Australasian market - Execute company-focused plans for strategic markets to ensure growth and profitability - Assess feedback and market intelligence to determine market development potential; define targets for customer groups and product ranges - Strengthen the leadership capabilities of sales managers and sales resources within the company - Meet financial objectives and budgets; contribute as part of the executive management team - Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to sales managers and their teams; ensure adequate resources and support - Build executive-level relationships with industry and institutional influencers; represent the company to enhance market awareness and opportunities - Collaborate with internal functions (sales, finance, operations, estimation, engineering) to meet customer service indicators - Engage with product management to provide customer insights and contribute to new product/features development - Develop, monitor, and execute comprehensive sales budgets and forecasts - Participate in estimation reviews and ensure proposals align with the sales process - Provide detailed analysis of sales reports and metrics; contribute to growth and product development roadmaps Qualifications & Experience - MBA or Bachelor’s degree (Business) or a degree in Electrical Engineering or related qualifications desirable - Proven experience in a senior sales leadership position with direct and indirect channels - Experience in the Australian mining, EPC, Tier 1 markets and adjacent sectors in heavy industry - Demonstrated ability to achieve plans and deliver results - Knowledge of electrical products, applications, and markets - Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to drive results in a matrix organization - Experience leading a culturally diverse team and driving organizational change - Ability to provide detailed reports to management and the board - Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse sales data and analytics - Advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Resilient, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive Employee Benefits Comprehensive salary plus superannuation, Company vehicle, Tools of the trade and Bonus scheme based on growth.
