Job Summary This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role working with clients day to day with supervision of a small team. Client & Business Development: Proven ability to build deep client relationships and attract new business. Advisory Excellence: Deliver excellent advice aligned with budget, regulations, and best practices, identifying 'add value' opportunities. Communication & Interpersonal: Excellent advisory, rapport-building, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills. Leadership & People Management: Proven leadership, people management, and talent development skills; able to plan and delegate work effectively, providing support and oversight. Technical & Legislative: Excellent technical skills and legislative knowledge with a clear compliance record. Workflow & Financial Management: Ability to plan and manage team workflow, budgets, WIP, job assessments, KPI performance, and progress towards targets. Problem-Solving & Prioritisation: Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation, time, and workflow management abilities. Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills. Software Proficiency: Advanced Intermediate Google Suite (Google Sheets) preferred; Advanced understanding of Xero (incl Add-Ons) and adaptable to new technologies. Professionalism & Values: Acts with integrity, high accountability, self-awareness, and upholds Kearney Group's professional standards, vision, and values. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and assists with change implementation; actively seeks personal and professional development. Engagement: Actively participates in Kearney Group functions and events. Qualification Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance. CA/CPA qualified or progression toward.
