Role As the Remarketing Manager based in Brisbane, you will lead the end-of-lease vehicle remarketing process, managing the entire lifecycle from inspection through to final sale. You will oversee a small, engaged team while driving operational excellence, maximising financial returns, and ensuring a seamless de-fleet process. This role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Australian remarketing function, including people, finances, suppliers, systems, and processes to meet business objectives and KPIs. Oversee the end-of-lease vehicle process: transport coordination, lease termination, condition inspections, valuation, sales channel allocation (auction/retail), and asset disposal. Manage and develop a Brisbane-based team of 4–5 members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Use third-party and internal data platforms to analyse vehicle condition, resale values, and supplier performance to inform remarketing strategies. Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks for internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making. Manage relationships with third-party service providers such as auction houses, inspection services, and repairers, ensuring SLA compliance and data accuracy. Collaborate with operational, sales, technical, finance, and analytics teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes. Ensure compliance with all operational and financial procedures, including PPSR registration, invoicing, and accurate financial settlement. Maintain remarketing business processes, including fair wear and tear policies and training documentation. Key Skills & Experience Must-Have: Proven leadership experience managing medium-sized teams (4–5 people). Strong data analytics capability with experience interpreting vehicle sale benchmarks, damage data, and resale trends. Experience working with third-party platforms like Pickles, Grays, or similar auction and damage assessment tools. Background in fleet services, leasing, automotive operations, or asset lifecycle management. Ability to deliver favourable customer outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement. Highly Desirable: Product development experience within leasing or automotive sectors. Operational understanding of vehicle condition assessments and remarketing processes. Familiarity with fleet asset management databases and integration of auction house and supplier data. Transferable backgrounds may include: Data analysts with fleet or asset-based industry experience. Operations or logistics professionals with a strong analytical and systems/process mindset. Automotive professionals with end-to-end asset management experience (excluding dealership sales). Systems & Tools Proprietary lease and asset management systems (internal source of truth) Third-party auction and inspection platforms (e.g., Pickles portal) Data integrations from auction houses, suppliers, and internal BI teams Why Apply?
