Our Information Technology Services Team has an opportunity for a Regional IT Manager and Business Partner to lead initiatives in the APAC region. As a member of the Global IT team, you will be responsible for the relationship between IT and APAC business leaders. You will need to build business-wide relationships and work closely with Global IT Leadership to achieve alignment with global standards. You will have line management responsibility for regional service delivery and technical teams and seamlessly provide service management, facilitate office moves, integrations with newly acquired businesses, problem solving with business services and managing regional IT budgets. This position expands the IT Manager role into IT Business Partnership, proactively seeking opportunities and building effective relationships across levels and disciplines to help improve business efficiency and enhance client services. The ability to build a highly motivated and enthusiastic team with a genuine desire to support clients and develop your staff. This is a permanent full-time role that can be based in either our Brisbane, Sydney or Perth office. While you’ll primarily work remotely, given the regional nature of the role, you must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the APAC region to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of the business. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Champion regional responsibility for a team of staff responsible for all aspects of IT service delivery to end users Becoming an integral part of the extended Global IT Leadership Team, responsible for implementing strategy and service delivery across the SLR network. Managing resource allocation and utilisation to deliver projects and BAU support activities Leading the regional IT team, ensuring team members are well informed and equipped to deliver and innovate Building and maintaining communication, reporting and effective relationships with stakeholders, senior managers across the region on all aspects of IT delivery, IT security, project delivery and budget tracking. Ensuring the IT Service delivery function in APAC operates in alignment with the other regions and technical services Representing the APAC region within IT to make sure that IT understands the business direction, is responsive and building technology that meets business needs Becoming a strategic partner for the business leaders, understanding their needs, and working with IT to proactively translate those needs into requirements for technical delivery Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency through process improvement and enhanced use of IT. As a growing organisation, the role will involve integration and standardisation of services for newly acquired businesses. Skills & Experience We are looking to connect with candidates who can bring solid technical expertise, project management skills and business understanding to help deliver a well-managed, professional IT function that supports all aspects of IT for our APAC region. 4-8 years of experience in managing end-user IT Service Delivery supporting PCs, Laptops, Tablets, and mobile devices for >2000 staff Experience with configuration management, identity and access management, active directory, collaboration platforms and other M365-based services Capability to build business-wide relationships and team building with the confidence and curiosity to speak to various disciplines and stakeholders Experience with Agile and Project Management Methodologies such as Prince 2 A proven track record of driving and reporting on workplace technology adoption Experience of repeated delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Effective management of multiple medium-to-large scale multidisciplinary IT projects Fluency in analysing data using tools such as Excel and SQL Familiarity with ITIL V3/V4 A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science is desirable Our Benefits We are most proud of our expert teams and unique culture and our where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
