We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pre-Prep Educator/Assistant Director to join the Early Education team at our North Shore centre. About the Role: As Pre-Prep Educator/Assistant Director, you will: Support the Director in coordinating and managing the daily operations of the Centre, and step into a leadership role in their absence. Assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of play-based learning programs aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and the School's ethos. Build respectful and nurturing relationships with children, families, and staff. Ensure the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, and contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Provide guidance and professional support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. What we're looking for: A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Bachelor level qualifications will be highly regarded). Demonstrated knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). Leadership skills with the ability to support and mentor staff and coordinate daily operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building partnerships with families. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
